Here at Alford, we have worked hard over the last two years to redevelop our school vision and values.
Pupils, teachers, support staff and families were invited to share their views on what values really match with the ethos of Alford Primary school and what shared goals we have for all members of our community.
After much discussion, negotiation and debate, the people of our school community have decided that here at Alford, we share a vision that we will all Aim High for the Bullseye.
We have agreed that to achieve our vision, all interactions and efforts in the school should be based around 3 key values - to be respectful, to be inclusive, and to be responsible.
Each week, we award a pupil from each class one of our coveted "Bullseye" awards. These are handed out to celebrate those pupils who go above and beyond in demonstrating one of Alford's school values - being respectul, inclusive and responsible! The pupils love recieving the values awards and they love to see their friends and peers recieve one as well.
